Yeah i use chop saw right now as well with a diamond blade. Works good for notching tube but for exact cuts not the best, but im not building a space ship.

The wheels of death are great, i use the shit out of them as well. I recommend for you is to get a porta band from harbor freight. Cheap and they work amazing. Go to swag off road and you can get the stand to make it a vertical band saw.

I've got the Milwaukee porta band at work, and I'm not overly impressed with it. It tends to wander or "skew" when cutting certain things. May just be old and worn out...

Put into the Swag adapter, it is much easier to control the cut. Thin small blade, makes it easy to wander, compared to the larger blades on a horizontal band saw.

Latest updates on my own, from the progress for some 2TR headers. One merge, for @BassAckwards, has been made and fully welded. Also, the Jig for T3 and T4 is nearing completion.

A lot of material is coming in for my neighbor's header build. I'll use his truck to make sure my jig is accurate, based off of the Chinese manifold.

To note.* I had a challenging time even tack welding the top jig plate to the T25 flange. This is after sanding and cleaning it. They really use some poor quality material. It was splattering and popping from the impurities. Similar to rust and other whoknowswhats.....

Effectively, I'll be making two at the same time. My neighbor's will be slightly different in that his will be planned for twin scroll, where as the other will be modeled after the look of the Chinese one.

Good luck my friend. Those jigs really help out. I like the top two braces that are bent. I tacked all mine up and then welded all the seams except to the collector and the flange to minimize warping and distortion.

Technically both. Truck is currently auto but now I'm going to 5 speed swap it.

Long story but basically my auto got sad after 2 years of boost. Wanted to rebuild it but it got expensive quick. So I ordered a auto trans from a yard against my better judgment and said if I have any problems I'm just going to 5 speed swap it. We'll you guessed it, they sent me a dud. Couldn't even get the converter to seat, let alone spin the shaft. Pump face was broken and fine bearing material in the fluid. Wow.

Thankfully a deal came up and I snagged a fresh Marlin built trans with less than 500 miles along with some other goodies.

Been collecting parts and its almost time to put it together. I just want to get back to boost already! The weather is great!
