I'll be headed to my parents and having my in laws and their whole gaggle over there.

I'm thankful to have parents and in laws close enough to help with the baby here and there, but far enough to not just stop by at 630 on a Monday night unexpected. They know bettern at.

My in-laws live just over one mile away.

I haven't seen them in a few years.

The last time we had them over for Thanksgiving she more or less accused me of trying to kill her because I deep fried the turkey in peanut oil and she's supposedly allergic to peanuts. I know she saw the jug when she walked past me and ate it anyway.

We will have dinner at Mother-In-Laws, wife's brothers and their wives/kids usually too show up. We exchange or draw names for Christmas gift exchange on that day.
My current supervisor had a detached retina a couple of years ago. He didn't mention if it hurt or not but just that he woke up and had no vision in one eye. Surgery went well for him and he said the most difficult part was the length of time he had to spend face down after the operation.

Didn't mention in previous post but M-I-L's place is just about 45 minutes drive North so not far to travel.
New master and slave cylinder arrived today for that old 4runner. The clutch acted like there was air in the system or something, IDK but just wasn't consistent. Fluid blacker than the ace of spades.

We don't go to my parents for anything and they live 3 miles from us. My in-laws live 15 minutes from us and we go there from time to time. Last year my wife cooked a big feast for Thanksgiving and I smoked a turkey, her cousin, husband, and 2 kids came and ate with us. We invited them again this year but she is sick right now so we will see how that pans out. If they don't come over I guess it'll just be the 4 of us.

    Good morning Creed and Company.

I plan on doing this with my crossbars too. How are you running the wiring for the lights? I’ve seen some guys drill a hole inside the roof tracks and run the wire into the bed but that seems like asking for a leak to me.

This one already had a wire ran through the roof and into the bar. When the truck it came off of got wrecked someone cut the wires at the bar and took the lights off. I took the bar off and rewired it then used the hole that was already there. I did buy a 2 wire quick connect and put inside the shell incase I ever want to take the shell off I don't have to cut any wires.

Thanks for the reminder, I need to reseal where the wire goes through the roof.

When my son was in school we always took our family vacations over the Thanksgiving break. We went to all the Disney parks multiple times over the years. Crowds weren’t too bad because everybody was doing the family holiday thing at home. Thanksgiving dinner was usually the dinner show at Medieval Times, it’s a mock up of a castle with an enclosed arena and stadium style seating. You eat a medieval style meal while watching knights on horseback joust and fight with swords. It’s a good show. I wouldn’t mind going back to that but you can keep the theme parks.

So just drilled straight through the fiberglass and sealed with silicone? No leaks?

It was leaking when I got it, I put some silicone on it and it wasn't leaking anymore. I pulled it out yesterday and had a tough time getting the silicone off.

One of our customers, an older gentleman ask us to do a wood project. Boss told him we have a router but no table. He said I have a table but no router. Have no idea what was on it but I cleaned it up a bit and mounted the router. Looks safe to me
