What do you guys think my King 2.5 with reservoirs (non-adjustable) shocks are worth?

They've got about 9k miles on them.

One of them needs a reservoir replaced, then nitrogen charge of course. I have a reservoir and sticker to replace with.

Also including new steel and nylon sleeves as well as bushings (top mount is stem).

Been quoted 60-80 for the labor for the reservoir job.

Might be looking to trade for some 12" Kings for my relocation but his need a rebuild.

I’ve been thinking about trying to find a way to get my winch line under the truck to the other side and hi enough I could use it as a lift. But I haven’t got much passed thinking about it

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Nearly new. About 1 year old. My buddy from TX that has made a couple of runs in the Ozarks with me now has a screaming PS pump after he got home from last weekend's trip.

There is some kind of stress that we must be putting on the pumps that causes the vanes to start howling. Changing fluid weekly when it starts seems to help.

The strange thing is I have several friends with 80 series and Tacomas that run the same trails and put the same or more stress on their steering systems, have no problems.

The 80 series reservoir is a different design. I'm starting to think there may be some condition we get into on trails that contributes to the problem.

Do you guys know of any racing PS fluid that can handle extra high temps? @Speedytech7

Maybe I need to install another "larger" PS fluid cooler.

Have you looked into the synthetic pentosin? Wits end makes a larger cooler for 80series too that probably fits a hundo. But honestly it shouldn't be getting that hot, is your pressure regulator sticking maybe?

Yeah, when you mentioned steering angle changed pump noise I was wondering if there was an internal issue in the box causing added strain or reduced flow, though it could just be a noisy pump under load.

Some people swear by Amsoil or Royal Purple in racing or rock crawling systems that see high heat-- ATF additives are a no-go for hydraulic cylinders and orbital values that hydro assist/full hydro systems run. at the end of the day ATF is hydraulic fluid with extra additives for the transmission application.

I have run the Amsoil and noticed less boiling over compared to mineral power steering fluid. That said I've been running ISO32 hydraulic oil in the crawler and it does dandy

edit: @Speedytech7 is right that it shouldn't be getting too hot though
