    In my head I’ve done so much to it (and continue to do so) and still love it, it’s a very clean truck. However, realistically, if I did hypothetically do what I said above. At some point in the back of my head I know I’d have to part ways with it at some point.

    Yea man honestly if you do supercharge the 3rd Gen you’d eliminate my biggest complaint with it. And I completely get what you mean cause I went thru it with mine but at one point where you can’t get in it and really enjoy the truck anymore it’s time to go. And now that’s it’s gone I can’t say I miss it but I miss the experiences I had with it. I had mine since new and drove it to mexico and back 3 times and it ended up having 127k miles when I traded it in but I just wasn’t excited about driving it anymore

    I’m definitely not at that point. I still very much enjoy mine every time. I know I’d regret selling it. At the same time I’d kinda like that Procharger with the upgrades of the 3rd gen. It most likely won’t happen but ya only once, ya know…

    Blend of the standard and "+" variant tune received and flashed. (Flash process seemed quicker today than Friday's, but maybe that's just in my head.) IMO, this variant nails it - familiar response off-the-line, but spunkier throughout the rest of the acceleration curve. As expected, it seems to command/demand higher boost more quickly/often. I like it, a lot!

    Appreciate the tip took about 1.5-2cm off with a airsaw cleaned up and went back on and volia no more pressure. The airbox now needs to get warm to get its shape back but looks good now to throw on the trd cover when I get home.

    I had to push pretty hard to get the AFE momentum intake to seat properly against the fender, in order for me to bolt down the box. Took a few tries

    Yeah mine still has a small gap thinking about picking up one of these to get airflow directly from the fender to the airbox instead of relying on the pressure from the box and gasket/moulding.

    i havent. i have the afe momentum and 76mm tb causing the tight fit. i also run the front scoop year round. give it a try. or wait for a black friday deal on a scoop.

    Word is that isn’t gonna apply to the TRX. only the actual Dodge products like the hellcat and Durango hellcat. But I think eventually they’ll make it for the trx too

    Looking for some thoughts on valve size. I haven’t seen many of us with worked heads yet.

    I have the Procharger, Kelfords, sleeves, keeping it 10:1 at 95.5mm and getting the stock crank balanced.

    I think from the little data I’ve seen there is merit to looking at larger valves. The kelfords really change the airflow characteristics of the base 1GR. It wants to rev and airflow continues to climb with the lift/duration on the Kelfords.

    I think a 7k RPM forged 4.0L with Kelfords (and valve train) and a ProCharger would have the potential for 500whp or so.

    Depends if you want to spend the money to go oversized or stay stock. Supertech and Ferrea, are the only two I am aware of.

    In my big bore block, I have stock sized valves. In the stroker, I have over sized. I honestly prefer the big bore block. But that engine had stock cams and higher compression, and lower boost.

    If the flow is needed, get it.
