Holy crap, GWH loan fee is now at 325%!

 

whats that mean?

 

That means it costs 325% to borrow a single share of GWH for a entire year. Its paid out daily, but calculated yearly.

 

It means the share price is about to plummet

 

Kinda I guess, there is a ton of demand to short it so there is lots of people betting on it failing. Higher fee usually means lots of demand to short. But GME has a .7% fee on it and its shorted a huge amount.

Expected drop, high cost to borrow...
No shares available to borrow....high cost to borrow...
Sharp squeeze possible, high risk to borrow...

Only if you want to be hurt again. I think GWH has a hold on its shares after it IPO'd. Not sure though as I have not actually checked.

They seem like it could be a pretty solid company if their tech works out. In the next 10-15 years their tech could become standard for the power grid storage problems.
