The lights have been up there for about 6 years w/o breaking.
I use them a lot to see deer near the roads so I don't have to peel Bambi out of my ARB and winch.
AND they're there for people who like to drive slow in the fast lane. ;)

We have basically the same truck...except mine's Xtra Cab not DC. Nice utilization of the CB mounts for lights.

    Thanks for the compliments!

My first lift was a spacer 2.5" front, that I designed and had a friend (professional welder) weld up for me. That spacer set up was great for about 70K miles and is now on my friends '99 Tacoma!
The rear got an AAL and shackle since I had hauled WAAYY too much fire wood several times and flattened out the weak OEM springs. Rear springs are now due for replacement at 165K - just waiting on $$$.
I then bought a Sway-a-Way C/O front shock & spring set up off e-bay and rebuilt them about 25K ago - never felt a real seat of the pants difference between my spacer lift up front and these C/Os. Just my .02.

I have an ARE shell too but it got snowy up here and I haven't reinstalled it yet.
