Hmm, 100cc, 10” rear wheel, carburetor, DCT, 30” seat, seams like a weird combination. Is this supposed to be an intro to the Grom? Doesn’t have a lower seat or much lighter. For those who want a Grom but don’t want to get a motorcycle license or learn to shift I guess? Pretty ugly but cheap, bet it’ll sell well.

One would still need a motorcycle license since it is over 50cc correct?
I think it’s marketed to all the people who mod a Ruckus.

Pretty sure anything over 50cc here(CO) still needs a motorcycle license. But I'm a bit confused cause the Ruckus usually sells for over $2k and there's less to it

Thought it was 125 here, but could be way off, haven’t ever ridden one. Either way I’d take a Ruckus over this personally ha.

Maybe they were able to scrounge up enough parts they do actually have in stock to sell a bike they could make today to take some slack off the bikes some of us have been waiting on Honda for for 6 months haha.

Just checked, it’s 50cc here in SD as well.

Knew a guy who got a DUI, lost his license, and rode a 125 to work. Guess he was dumb enough to get another DUI and dumb enough to not realize he wasn’t riding legally either haha.

The newest generation Grom is pretty ugly too. It's all opinion, but I feel they had it right with the SF (2nd Gen).

It being carbureted is the biggest turnoff for me, but ehhhh I'm really tempted. I bet I could sell the CT and cover the entire cost of this little guy. Great ripping around town option, IMHO.

A little more necessary with those lake effect snow storms there! My buddy has like 3 of the things and I always ask him why haha.

Ive never liked the fit and finish of Hondas but one thing I was actually super impressed with was their DCT. I thought for sure it’d be horrible to ride but I was blown away how much control it had doing tight maneuvers at slow speeds. Impressed indeed. I’ll never own one, but I can now happily recommend one if anyone was interested.

It's CVT, not DCT. Way different animal. CVT's are real easy to mod though if you ever put in additional power, change the springs and weights and you're good to go.

You right, I saw automatic and Honda and just said DCT like all their others. Thanks!

EDIT: I see why they show the other side more haha.

What the hell is going on with the front drum brake.. why does it have two cables o_O *edit* I'm wondering if it's a parking brake, actually. Left handlebar has a lever but it's a CVT so no clutch... hmmm

Looks like the plastic bucket where the engine normally is can be removed, that's kind of cool. I bet you could slide a case of beer through there.

Nut green doesn’t look bad. Not a bad little storage thing.

Did a bit more digging, I guess this was introduced as an India bike in 2016 and had 3 editions of it, city, off road, and adventure. They also make some cool accessories (engine guards, rail racks, headlight guards, high fender mod, etc) along with decal kits. I know I've said this before about other small bikes (thinking Duke 125 in particular haha) but I'm REALLY tempted. This things cool and cheap.
