I am getting a smoking deal on a set of like new 33x12.5r17 bfg mud terrains. The problem is, idk if i have enough lift.

I have a 1 inch spacer up front, but i have my bumper removed so i get a little more lift from that (less weight)

In the back i have 1 full size leaf spring extra on each side. I initially lifted the truck in the back for added weight capacity, but then i found tacomaworld and i want the big tires too, and well....im getting a good deal so why not.

If you dont think they'll fit, what is the most cost efficient way to fit them? Here is the most recent picture of the truck, and not i have 600 pounds in the back so it usually sits a bit higher.

    New truck....so nothing yet
Aint no way. You need at least 2.5" of lift to fit them. And then only with the proper wheel off set.

Are those FJ 17" alloys? 17x7.5 right? I don't think 12.5 inch wide tires would fit properly on a 7.5 inch rim.

Besides that fact, how are those rims working out for you on your current setup? I was thinking about getting the same rims with a set of 265/70/17

Lift has little to do with fitting a tire unless you have like 8"+.... The only way to make tires fit is to CUT YOUR FIREWALL.. or beat it with a 8# hammer :smash:

Get rid of the stupid spacer, buy bilstein 5100's and set them at 2.5" or 0" with eibach coils/ OME 881's. Then you'll have a MUCH better ride and look.

I see, well thanks for the advice everyone.

As for ^^ they work find, fit like a factory tacoma rim. That is the same tire size i am running by the way. I just need tires, mine are bald...probably why the tire shop gave them to me instead of throwing them away lol

They will fit just fine on the rim. I run 12.5 wide tires on a 7" wide rim. No problem.
