Got my exhaust reroute, rerouted again after the first one was so bad that my skid plates didn’t fit and the welds started leaking. Thanks to @oostroma for the mention a month ago. And wanted to jab at @Fatback17 because they didn’t charge me.

The new exhaust tech was just like “who did this???” It fixed the horrible vibrations and even seems to have eliminated a squeak I heard in the radiator fan (so far).

How are you plugging in the Apple MagSafe since it has the different connector? I would love to copy this setup!

Welp finally got the right colored match paint for the latches, badge and hardware on the half shell, assembled everything and its ready to go on the truck, this was actually pretty fun to build, didnt take all that long just got delayed with paint and some small stuff but I think it turned out amazing what do you all think? I will put it on the truck on my next day off cant wait to see it all together!

How much was the Junkyard cubby? Where did you search for it, link, please? I need an accelerator resistor assembly, mine has a dead spot right at the beginning, fun getting in the garage with that issue.

Oh my! I can imagine you have quite the issue. I paid $112 for the cubby. Here's the link for the salvage eBay store I found it at, but there are MANY others. It just takes some digging around. I was lucky I didn't even have to go to the pick-a-part, myself.

It’s better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.

So you took it back to the place that hacked it the first time? Glad they made it right even after all this time.

Hahaha, I wish I'd known about that emoji earlier.

Yah, sadly two days after our conversation I got in an accident so I had to cancel the do over. It had been at the body shop until last Monday (38 days). First company I called back were these folks. You can tell this picture is from today in the shop's parking lot. I got under it again at home in the garage and retightened the skid plate crossbar. It all looks good, feels really good and is exactly what I was hoping for. I was glad the new tech was as annoyed as me. And the pipe is WAY better, I mean look out those nice bends. Whoever this second person was is definitely the real "professional" :D That sloppy bullshit before was so bad.

I had to tell them the whole story of the accident and all that. Luckily the woman who took my call was still there at 5:30pm because one of them tried to ask if the accident caused the condensation leak and she jumped in to save me that I had called in September. The best part is that I never said anything about the payment, I just kind of had this look on my face like I expected them to fix it. I channeled some Boston but was also very pleasant about it (like when you expect your boss to pick up the check at lunch but act surprised).

I'm glad they made it right too. Comparing this pipe with the old one is night and day. Now my all my friends are jealous (ok just one because I went with the flat skids and he went with the bumped out set and he already pushed it into the existing pipe so now he's got the terrible vibrations). Probably send him elsewhere though.

Here I made you another picture to inspect.
