Mine bottomed out in the spindle because I didn't attach the dust cover, snapped before it got close to torque spec

Little bit of nostalgia for ya

Got these after I traded some extra Gameboy parts I had; I also had to fix his Gameboy but that was easy.

We're you reading when I was talking to @Wulf about the SLA1104 batteries from interstate? This EGo brand is one of the ones that just use numerous multiples of this battery In series all under the "proprietary" battery cover. EGo is know for their cheaply sourced logic and the battery quits normally just after the warranty expires. You can save yourself alot of money buy buying a single replacement cause, in my experience, only one of the 3 fail and its cheaper to fix it yourself then buy an OEM one.

EDIT: looking up just now online, the new new ones are apparently lithium powered and not a SLA. If you bought one of the newest versions than I have zero experience with them because I stopped working for an EGo "authorized repair center" distributor in the 2017-2018 timeframe and they were all SLA versions. I leave the previous info up however, because my money is on them skimping on battery charger board logic/components and 30% (what I saw coming through the service department vs what we sold) you're gunna end up with a dead cell from it
