Cover King neoprene seat covers installed! Great for us sweaty mountain bikers. Fits great, easy to install.

It’s better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.

Looks a whole lot better, glad you got it fixed up! Also good to see you got your ass under there and made sure its done to your liking!!:boink:

So you took it back to the place that hacked it the first time? Glad they made it right even after all this time.

Hahaha, I wish I'd known about that emoji earlier.

Yah, sadly two days after our conversation I got in an accident so I had to cancel the do over. It had been at the body shop until last Monday (38 days). First company I called back were these folks. You can tell this picture is from today in the shop's parking lot. I got under it again at home in the garage and retightened the skid plate crossbar. It all looks good, feels really good and is exactly what I was hoping for. I was glad the new tech was as annoyed as me. And the pipe is WAY better, I mean look out those nice bends. Whoever this second person was is definitely the real "professional" :D That sloppy bullshit before was so bad.

I had to tell them the whole story of the accident and all that. Luckily the woman who took my call was still there at 5:30pm because one of them tried to ask if the accident caused the condensation leak and she jumped in to save me that I had called in September. The best part is that I never said anything about the payment, I just kind of had this look on my face like I expected them to fix it. I channeled some Boston but was also very pleasant about it (like when you expect your boss to pick up the check at lunch but act surprised).

I'm glad they made it right too. Comparing this pipe with the old one is night and day. Now my all my friends are jealous (ok just one because I went with the flat skids and he went with the bumped out set and he already pushed it into the existing pipe so now he's got the terrible vibrations). Probably send him elsewhere though.

Here I made you another picture to inspect.

Took down the rear head liner just enough to stick my hands under the roof, drill some holes and install a new radio antenna. I feel like I've been in radio hell. I had the original magnetic one up here but it kept wanting to get ripped off by trees and car washes. Put the ghost antenna on the fender, which had AWFUL reception and blind spots from the body/frame. Then had an accident and lost the fender. Finally got the truck back and did this. The Midland mount almost not compatible with the roof if you use their gripping bracket that's meant for this size hole because it makes the stem too long. But eventually figured out a solution using their spacer instead and now it's really nice. Reception is great so far but haven't done a trip yet.

I finally decided to make good use of some winter tires I had from my old Frontier so I pulled the trigger on some Replika rims to run as my winter set. Luckily had them installed the same day we got our first big dump of the year.

Ouch! You drilled a hole in your roof? Ouch!
So if trees/carwash ripped off the mag mount won't they rip that off too? Then you'll have a broken antenna AND a hole in your roof!
Couldn't you have mounted it to your roof rack or maybe used something like This! to locate it out back where there's not much in the way? I mean if you're cool with the hole then it's all good, I'd be way to afraid to do it!

There probably is....but I didn't have/use one to punch all the way through the metal spine. Once I realized I should remove the small section of spine first, drilling through the plastic was easy.
