sounds like something that would force salt higher up and deeper into cracks at 1600psi that it otherwise was not even into from the road, not to mention the limited angles able to achieve from a long stall wand laying next to a truck on the ground...

I am driving to Massachussets and back starting next week. What would be a good option for cleaning the undercarriage after I get back, any suggestions.

You tell me. You and me both man.
Good options I can think of:
If you have access to a shop with lift, drain grates, and water hose with spray attachment, you can lift the truck and get underneath, spraying it. Then squeegee water into the drain.

Or, if you have a lawn with hose and house, the hose can be stretched out to underneath the truck with a cheap spinny sprinkler attachment and ran. Walk inside, do something else, forget about it, especially if water is cheap and there's not too much restrictions regarding drought/time use.
Then come back outside later (10 minutes, whatever you want), and move around the location underneath the truck for full washing.
Neighbors gonna look at you weird.
    With or without skid plates.

Because I don't seem to have access to either of these two options right now, I may try to replicate number one.
Now that I think about it, my apartment building may have a water hose hookup that HOA pays for.
But there's no parking spot near it.
So basically I have to find a way to park my truck near it, lay underneath without getting soaked, and connect a hose. Then I can either connect a sprinkler, or spray handle.

Either that or I pony up and buy some shit like this for $50
I'm not into "making my own" stuff like that (out of PVC pipe) ever since I made a brake fluid pressure bleeder out of a garden sprayer, for barely cheaper than a real one (Motive) that did not work as well.

re your avatar EGA, IDK if Miramar still has the heated pressure washer lift bay outside at the auto shop. More for cleaning oil off a vehicle underside.
Found a post on Reddit talking about this that mentioned a Chevron car wash in Chula Vista on H Street. I tried it. Requires the Deluxe version or something.
You can definitely see some spray up out the floor but it's not much and only like 10 seconds.

I guess if I end up buying the attachment I'll have to let you know to borrow it.

Now that I think about it, even with the "sprinkler method" I used, I was still badly surprised when I got a closer look under the truck and found rust starting to develop in places it previously never had. In hindsight I could've moved the sprinkler around more spots.

I don't know if this would suit your needs but some drive-thru car washes have an undercarriage washer. Usually a Chevron with a touch free wash has these. I remember these locations having that feature.

    https://goo.gl/maps/d4PXFGeAoRre4wxu5

    https://goo.gl/maps/jv46uK1WKMhf3prY7

    https://goo.gl/maps/AAFR6kSsSaFw7DaA6

Again, it may not suit your needs as it's a fixed washer in the ground and you drive over it as you enter the wash so all you get is one pass. And you'll have to pay more for the upper price tier as the cheapest wash doesn't include the undercarriage washer.

FOR SALE as combo or pieced out. Leer shell with working shocks and locks, pretty sure it’s for a 1st gen but I made it work for my access cab 2nd. Slide windows with screens and privacy tint I installed, not professional but is decent and can be taken off. My insulation fell off the roof and I still have it.
Have a custom built bed platform with removable middle, carpeted. Asking $450 for the shell and $180 for the platform, or $600 for both.
Penis painted tailgate not for sale LOL

Does anyone have one of the Harbor Freight 20-ton shop presses taking up space that they're looking to get rid of? I've seen a few pop up online but they tend to sell quickly.

Anyone need a Portaband? I purchased this from Harbor Freight, used it on 3 cuts and ended up getting a Milwaukee M18 bandsaw for a killer deal from a friend. $100 its yours, pickup in San Marcos.
