I haven’t even ridden a modern sled. Have you tried out your friends? Got a 31 year old Jag 440. I’m curious to find out how I like the narrower, rider forward design. Seems like it would feel more dirt bike like to me. Curious if that’s the impression you got if you’ve ridden one.

See, I got a bit of a mid 80’s Nighthawk 700 vibe from the second Gen Grom. I do like the first Grom. Third Gen I can stomach in every colour except the SP with the gold graphics. They would be the first thing to go if I was in the market for another Grom.

Cycle gear is kinda near me too, in Woodbridge. But they don't have that great selection. Sproketz was 1000% better.

i was researching some prices, and id probably sell my jacket separately instead of trading in for 15% off. Although i feel like i could get some junky Bilt stuff on Craigslist and thenbuse that to trade in for the 15%. But also at the same time, its 2.5 hours from me, so am I really saving anything?

Rite rite. Was jut throwing it out there. You are right though. In the last few years, Sprokets has really stepped up their game with the selection and availability.

I think you're starting out, but once you get your second jacket you'll see. Or it might just be my opinion, but Joe Rocket or an Alpinestars mesh jacket will be much better in terms of stitching and quality.. I buy used gear sometimes and not $700 helmets.

If you're in a pinch or ride one of those new CVT Honda scooters, Bilt might be ok. :p

LOL it's actually my third...my other two are Dainese. but the leather Dainese I have is a bit too snug since i fattened up over summer, so I bought a cheapo leather Bilt to hold me over when the mood strikes until I slim down.

I usually opt for the Dainese textile I have though. There's definitely a noticeable difference in quality.

    I know, right…

    got enough subscriptions as is.

apparently it’s Porn Stache as ole MC in this series.

kinda got some respect for this after his performance in 13 hours as Tanto and in Den of Thieves

seriously looking forward to this. Especially after Forward Unto Dawn

I still like old school. After near 40 years they are twice as heavy from oil as when new but they still work lol.

Coming up the Sunday after Thanksgiving for those of us who don't put our bikes away for the winter.

    http://www.turkeypronational.com/

This is a whole lot of fun to go watch or even try your hand at. If you think you're good at going fast let's see how good you are at going S L O W! Always draws a good crowd and the parking lot is usually filled with some bikes you don't see very often if ever. I'm planning on going over, leaving my area around 9 or 10 should have me there around 11 or 12, just in time to enjoy watching the festivities.
