Well I’m still waiting for mine. They’ve changed the delivery date four times. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday between 10-2, then at 6PM they updated that to next Tuesday between 10-2!? They require a signature for delivery, thankfully I’m having mine delivered to a friends house who works from home but it’s still frustrating.

Definitely frustrating, but on the shipper, not DB. If only we had some recourse when shippers jerk us around. Not like there’s much competition out there, sadly.

For sure! As a quick update, my cover arrived at my friend's house around mid-day today. Thankfully he was home to sign for it. I picked it up after work and will be installing it either tomorrow or over the weekend!

Time for another update, a buddy of mine and I installed my DB cover this evening after work. It was a little bit more work then I was expecting but not too bad. The instructions are good. We struggled for a time with getting the tension right to crush the rubber gasket enough but still allow the latching mech. to operate smoothly. Took us about two hours but we were BSing and chatting with a couple of my neighbors who stopped-by as well.

I still have some tweaks to make to it as the rubber gasket isn't pushed-down far enough in a couple of places, but that's not a big deal. I think I'm going to like it. I will miss having my in-bed tool box but I already have plans to move that to another vehicle. I don't have any plans on removing this DB cover from my truck.

For sure it's a very high-quality product! Although some of their welds are a bit 'interesting!'

For sure use two people if you can. I probably could have done it myself, but having a second person there made it a lot easier.

How much weight did you put down on the cover to set the gasket?
