What tires are those and how big do they measure on the truck? I've got 285/75/17 and of course already thinking about the next set

Went to the junkyard and removed a rear view mirror from a Prius with homelink and installed on my 2006 tacoma. I installed a head unit PLZ MP 800 that i had ordered from Amazon for 98$. I was able to keep my steering wheel controls without needing anything else. The head unit supports the controls.

That's a full inch bigger. Nice. I like the 11.5" width. Much less stuff to cut

I wouldve gotten them of i knew it was a real size before my 285/75s. Basically the same weight as well.

Im assuming you took the entire rail down to bare metal, primed and applied the bed liner? Or did you only sand, prime and paint the areas affected by rust?

How did you apply the bed liner? Roll on/brush or sprayed?

Was trying to think of what to do to my door sills. Driver side door sill underneath the trim piece is starting to wear and i noticed a small pencil eraser size spot starting to develop. Might have to do this and the rails come spring.

Well with a bobbed bed, toolbox, and 39in spare it becomes difficult to figure out where to store camping gear for long trips like the Rubicon. After a buddy of mine stared at the bed with beer in hand we came up with this. Basic small Thule roof rack, to keep it low it will be ratcheted down for now until I figure out how I want to build a super low pro mount for it.

I didn't take the entire bed rail down to metal, only the parts where the rust was. Then I sanded and primed the whole thing and then hit it with 2 coats of some rattle can bed liner.

Nice! Some Thule square bars with rt angle brackets slipped inside could hang it from the bed rails.

Would it be able to remain below bed height?

Sure, just use a large enough angle bracket that the bolt hole at the end lines up with the bed rail before the rack sticks up too much. How tall is the rack? It looks around 3-4” on the sides and 4-5” front and back. Does the tire need to slide under it?

Another way that keeps the bars out of the space below the rack would be to slide them under the top bar of the side rails on the rack. Then the Thule bars would just about line up with the bed rails so the angle brackets would lay sideways rather than vertical.

Any update on the light output from those headlights? I am in the market to replace mine and love the sport look but can't shell out the OEM price tag.

Took a few days to tweak my headlight alignments as I swapped headlights and didn't mark a wall for alignment. Same output as stock using the same stock bulbs. I need to read and take notes from the "ultimate headlight mod" thread and get brighter bulbs. I had very nice Hikari LED headlight bulbs in my 2016. Super bright with perfect cutoff. Bulbs alone were $180 for all 4. Not spending that much on this truck. Just need a brighter halogen and possibly a harness to produce more wattage. Like I said these headlights produce the same stock output as oem headlights.

So far mcneil racing has lied to me. Not looking foward to quality of fenders at this point. Called last friday and was told they were packaging some things up and if they couldnt get it out that day then monday at the latest. Monday comes and goes, tuesday comes and goes, I call today and they say some other stuff came up and they havent shipped it yet.
Im cool with a custom product that takes 5 weeks to make and fulfill but I cant handle the lies. Apparently they arent even done making rhe rears at this point.

Id rather you say its going to be 2 weeks before we ship than your order is being shipped today and it wasnt the truth.
