Wait, stocks are going up on positive earnings now? This strange turn of events confuses me.

Ok so not a huge complainer about stocks usually but one gripe today…. I waited for a couple weeks for an ipo and didn’t get it. Not that big of a deal, just waited til it went public around 11 and bought 10k worth of Sono motors. Got in at $26 and watched it climb very nicely. Then slowed down and went full reverse dropping around $2 per share so I set a stop loss at $27 and said I’ll at least walk out with some profit. Fell to 27 and the stop happened and it sold for 26.99 a share. Now sucker closed at 38.49 and climbed over $45 after hours before coming to a possible halt around $44. So, coulda easily been over a 6k gain today.

With this said, I also bought 150 shares of this new crypto mining company that’s using all renewable energy called iris energy. Figure that this stock would jump a small amount to get close to same share value as riot. Nope!!!! Took instant nose dive and I dropped 450 before I said screw it and stopped the bleeding.

Hopong tomorrow be better

It would be interesting to see how many stocks with a multi-billion dollar valuation at share prices over $100/share trade an average of 0.8-1.5% of the float per day...Although with each transaction PRESUMABLY having a share sold and bought it would be 1/2 that so about 0.6% of the float trading daily...Using the market cap ranking...

So how do they perform?

It looks like $GME trades nearly 3-5x as many shares daily on average as these...

Oh and $COUP likes to close on even $ too...

Indeed. Never underestimate the power of earnings. It's a coin toss every time. This time we won.

I didn't even have time to really look but saw up $0.25 at some point. I'm still holding. And I have a 4% profit after 9 months. lol

 

What's the IV on your NVDA calls?

 

118% IV. Delta is .76. Which is very low for ITM calls 2 days out.
