As long as there is no binding, you should be okay. Its not like you're going off any sweet jumps all the time haha

So I actually kind of like your new cut bumper. It'd look good if you relocate your front crossmember up about 6 inches to make your approach angle better and straighten out that line from your bumper to the LCA mount area.

more of the bumper will be cut off later on once i get my idea drawn up then a skid will be made that connects to the belly skids in a way. so wen its done you wont see the crossmember

    and what line?

    playing catchup on somethings!

the final part was put onto my truck and that was the marlin crawler frame brace and lets just say it was something....

the front brackets line up great for me and basically fit right in where they needed to so that was easy and not to hard. the rear brackets didnt line up too great..... and once pushed into place they wouldnt stay on the truck so you can tack it soo you would have to hold them to tack them no big deal right? well after that we noticed that the tabs that go over the cam tabs for the rear on my kit where slightly to large for the rear so there was gaps that needed to be filled with weld on one side and when we did the other side and lined it up the gap was even worse to the point we couldnt just fill it in with weld without a little bit of metal to stick in there.... so ill have to do that at a later date.

buuuuuut the big thing that does suck is my hunch was correct something on my truck was indeed bent and it turned out too be my lca bracket in the rear on the passenger side we got it straight as best we could but its not gonna be fixed unless i decide to
    A. cut it out and go with the jd fab kit.
    B. sell it and cut my losses
    C. get it aligned the best i can and call it good and forget about it...
atm im going with option C. lol

but even with those issues the truck is sorta aligned and drives straight down the road (which is still so odd for me) ill be dropping it off to get an alignment again this week to see if i cant get more caster on it and not in the red camber this time.

so here we go! final issues dealt with sorta.... ive replaced everything now besides one inner tie rod, steering rack(which is starting to have issues) and my lower ball joints. everything else on that front end is new or at least a year old so here is to hopping that i have no more issues....
front bracket went in great and is easy
    [IMG]
driver rear lca bracket has gaps its like it was made to large.... ill have to get some metal and fill in the gap on the left there near the cam tab
    [IMG]
this is the passenger rear lca mount and i found out this one is actually bent at the frame a bit... tried fixing it and got it a little better and said screw it im just gonna get this welded on and call it good enough

also yes im missing two bolts in my ifs skid because they decided to snap off in the frame of the truck oh well its not gonna go anywhere with those two gone

most common place my truck ever is at on jack stands!

parts ive needed for sumi for awhile now

hought id add to this post with the parts i got from the junk yard..
the trunk was a massive pain in the ass since this car has been rear ended i had to modify the brackets and shit to make the trunk work and some things are still off on body lines near the tail lights but its fine i guess...

the other issue was my wiring on a 96-98 civic the tail lights have a single wire that goes to every light in one massive loom so loads of wires. in the 99-2000 models they realized this is dumb and cut it down to one wire to 4-5 wires instead of like 8-10. so i had to choices use my old harness that came with my car that had loads of these lovely fixes as you can see down below or use the brand new unmolested harness and then figure out the wiring out my self.. well i went with the more pain in the butt idea and made the 98 harness work with the 99 so i finally got it all working! just took a lot longer then it should have... tonight ill either be messing with exhaust or the window and door card or maybe my wheels down there so i can get street tires on it and then actually drive the thing to work instead of the tacoma all the time...

so ya im now up to 7 different colors on this car lol
    [IMG]
lovely wiring that is all over this car it seems...

all lights working finally... the body gaps near the tail lights are far from perfect but oh well
