What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Finished last episode of Dopesick (ep 7), pretty bleak ending but a great series. I hope they do a season 2 as there are still a lot of questions to be answered

Hmmm................LONG. Better in some ways. Not as edgy...........not sure................many many scenes that I never saw before............but I swear the original had better music, more Hendrix and shit.

I looked it up on The Google and it said it was just a 7 episode mini-series, but seriously it feels like there should be another episode...unless they are planning a season 2. But mini series are usually just one season

Exactly what the lovely wife said. Well shit. Doc really looked like shit...............man I have my own story with that crap. It's very true, it changes your brain. Luckily my use was SHORT (post surgery) but I could feel it digging it's barbed hooks in. I usually come down on the side of industry and free enterprise. But those fckrs were plain lying (at the very least) and that breaks all rules, so..............game over.............

 

Yeah I have personal ties to the story as well. I'm 36 but I was in my late teens/early 20s when that stuff was hitting communities hard. Recreational use all over the place. Looking back it makes sense how flooded we were with it based on how hard it was pushed on the medical community and all the lies/scandals surrounding the stuff.

Dopesick is based on Beth Macy's book. Definitely worth a read.



Just a warning, you'll be extremely POed or sad...or both.

 

Knocked out Shang Chi (Really Good), Red Notice (Was kind of let down but not bad), and Jungle Cruise (Pretty good) over the weekend

 

Shang Chi was terrible IMHO. For whatever reason - yes her voice. I can't stand Nora Lum, known professionally as Awkwafina. Her voice is like 2 hours of listening to someone on the shitter with cramps. She ruined the movie.

Liu, his sister and Michelle Yeoh were fine. Writing was awful. Some of the movie was just wrong. Razor Fist. Razorfist? hmm....

That's just my opinion man.
