Hey guys, just wanted to hear opinions on Nitto’s Terra Grapplers. I’m mainly a highway driver with the very slight occasional trail rides. I also live in the NE so I definitely want something that I sled good in the rain and snowy conditions.

I was previously looking into Toyo Open Country AT3 or Cooper AT3’s but I was just offered a pretty great deal and I am wondering if I should take it.

someone has a set of 4 Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/70r17 basically brand new only 2,000 miles on them MAX and they are willing to sell me all 4 for $200.

    Should I take it?

Is it a meet up deal? or are they shipping them?

Meet up, they are only like 45min from me. These are a few pics of them.

    TRD Pro 4runner take offs.

They aren't my first choice but that price is a great buy. I'd go for it!

They will do you much better than the cooper at3's I wouldn't buy those again.

$200 for all 4 seems cheap. I'd be cautious about a scam. Check the production date of the tires and if they have plugs or patches.

They wore out way too quickly, and my alignment was checked 2 times during their run. They were awesome for the first year, but the performance decayed way too quickly.

That stinks, sorry to hear that! I have had Falken Wildpeaks for about 6 years now and although they've done me well I think its time to change it up. If I grab these I will run with these for a bit or I may go with the Toyo AT3's, still undecided.

The only reason I chose them over the wildpeaks was because of the siping, I wanted the best winter performance. I'd take the at3w's or toyo at3's any day over them.

I'm running cheap all terrains now. Oddly are much quieter and lasting longer haha.

I haven't really heard that from people or from the reviews i have been reading but ill keep that in mind. I ran Super Swamper TSL's way back when though and I could deal with that noise, and let me tell you, THERE WAS NOISE.

Confirmed with her, no patches or plugs, production date is 21. Her and her husband just bought a new 4Runner Pro and wanted to lift it and put their own tires on it and they just want to get rid of these and not worried about making a profit, so works out for me!

Do it. I just did this same deal last December. tires had about 8k on them, but great shape and I think it was $220.

I had to drive a bit further, Austin to Dallas but I did it over Christmas so already had to go that way for my lady’s family.

had them for a year and have been great.

There are two different side wall treads. One like I have (spike) and the other side looks like lightning bolts ZZZ

also, when I first put them on I had them at 35 psi and felt a little ‘roll’ or sway? I pumped them up to 38-40 depending on the season and feel a lot more firm which I like for road handling and response but might feel a little more firm to some people but it works for me.

Yup looks like the ones I am getting have the ZZZ sidewalls, what is the difference between just the pattern? I’ll definitely keep the PSI numbers in mind, I do a lot of highway driving so I’d prefer the firmer feeling.

Both side wall treads on the same tire. One side has the ZZZ and the other side has the spike. Just preference on what you want facing out
