    Lights themselves went in today. Nice having them, though I'm not sure if they are aimed quite right.

    I know I will probably be told to re-read the beginning of this thread, but I could really use some clarification on the wiring for a mic tuning switch i got. I am pre-wired and have installed my fogs but I just need to get the switch in. I'm planning on just tapping into the correct wires once I figure that out. Below is the diagram for the switch I have;
    mictuningswitch.jpg
    From what I've read i think green goes to the pin 26 and then red 1 grounds on the dash bolt? Is that correct? Also is there any better place to ground that red 1 or is the dash bolt fine?

    Then I think red 2 and black are for the switch's backlight, so red 2 to green on the deck lighting plug? and ground to beige on the deck lighting? or dash bolt?

    I know I probably sound repetitive since all the info is there I just need clarification to be sure and not fuck anything up. I'm more visual and haven't been able to find pictures to get it straight in my head so thanks for any help.

    I debated for awhile on the the switch and finally decided to just replace the light stalk. I couldnt be happier. It’s such a clean install no one would ever be able to tell it wasn’t factory.

    Thanks I’ve got the switch all set now. fogs work and the dash indicator comes on.

    Although I discovered I have a bad connector where the fog harness links to the main harness that was pre-installed.

    Looking around for a part number to swap that out but otherwise good for now with zip ties holding the connector just right

    Trying to buy the parts… would these parts original poster suggested be the same for 2022 or 2021 model?

    First off, here are all the parts numbers you need for the 55W TRDOR version:

    Missing the combination switch or panel switch, depending on if your vehicle is fog ready or not.

    Also the fuse is probably not necessary. I have a bare bones 21 V6 4x4 SR and it had the fuse already there. I ordered without checking. You should check first.

    Mine doesn’t have the fuse, there is only a slot for it. But back to my original question, would these parts original poster suggested be the same for 2022 or 2021 model? thanks

    I used that harness on my 21, it already had the fuse, the light assemblies I got aftermarket off Amazon to save money. I replaced the light stalk to keep the function OEM

    I thought so too. Somehow tech at my toyota dealership said only 2019 and up fits 2022.
