I could see the salt driving through the curves on 131 through dt GR on dry pavement this morning. Everyone’s tire treads were white.

The UP uses a lot of sand on the roads, over time it gets imbedded in the snow/ice and traction is pretty good considering. Keep in mind ,they see below zero temps for long spells .

Double check any and all hardware.

Liked the top I got from them for my LJ, but the header board was broken and for the life of me I couldn't get them or 4Wheelparts to send me another one, so I ended up drilling out the factory one and using additional hardware to make it fit.

Are the Best Top units as temperamental as my Soft Topper in cooler weather?

I won't even attempt to snap mine on when it's cool. TheSoft Topper shrinks a bit in the cold making it a bitch to install.

All soft top materials are like that, and the manuals even say to not try and snap them on when they're cold.

Still battling it to get it to fit.
Have garage heater going and it’s about 80 in there. Still too tight to get it all shut as intended.

They were kind enough to label about half the pieces. Was able to decipher most of it but two bow arms are almost identical. On phone with customer service to see if they’re identical or subtle difference.

if different, I’ll be uninstalling what I have and starting over. A joy!

Had one set of the support bars on opposite sides. Kept me busy. All up and did a few drives with it today.

Here’s a pic of it. Need to figure out some adjusting to get it to sit flush with the tailgate.

Wanting to put high clearance rear on. Minor rear ending last year then further damaged the lower bed panel a week after the repair was quoted. :frusty:
