freeze got mine.. moon flowers died in one night too.. I had a California pepper plant with 8-10 peppers I was able to pick, but small and never completely ripened.. today it’s gonna be high of 68

Because....
I cant sit all day, I just cant do it. The spot I'm going to has deer in it all day, but it gets better later in the day; so I'm going in at 11 and staying until dark.

I'm fixing to do just that shortly. My feet are cold and I've been sitting in this uncomfortable chair for 2.5 hours.

I live on a mountainside and my policy is to wait until Spring.
Most of the leaves will be somewhere else by then.

 

Its kinda hard to explain...
Most of the deer dont get in there until mid morning, I need a north wind to go in there (which is what there is today)...if I go in before they get in there I'll get busted (they come in from the south).

 

And I'm doing laundry

 

I should take my shotgun for a walk and see if there are any pheasants left on the State Game Lands.
They've probably all been chased off.
