Buttoned up the grill lights. Gotta say these throw more light than the 2-7" round lights I had in there before, and the bamf light mount I picked up from a TW member has them way more solid than my garage fab'd mount.....strong like bull! Never mind the 3 burnt out bulbs on the lower light bar. Got it for free and it will be out when the winch goes in, hence the grill lights.

Well, a little rust repair under my exhaust turned out to be a surprise. Looks like I have my work cutout for me (pun fuckin intended)

Down side of living in a snow state. A former coworker, from WI, told me his family used to drive cars until they were too rusted to drive then they pulled the drivetrains, to sell, and parked them at the back of the farm. I would imagine all 4 wheel wells are the same under the flares.

This is what I think I'm going to have to do. Above the wheel isn't much of a problem, thinking just cut it out and hitting the cut an back with rust reformer. It's the part on the front corner of the wheelwell that makes me think I need a new bedside

Oh that's what you mean, seemed like you were saying the panel was bent outward and wasn't laying flat enough against the bed side to bolt the bottom down. Yeah as someone else said, your panel is just to far forward but if it works whatever.

Very, very exciting day. Took the truck in to get the serpentine belt replaced for 133 American dollars.

Auxbeams. I've had good luck with them in the past, and they do everything the expensive pods do except empty my bank. All technical specs aside they make dark places bright. I went with a set of white and a set of amber for better contrast. I'll try and get some shots once it gets dark.

Well, it's a start. Got to get some of that bondo and mesh for the corner some other day. Found out it's rusted through.

I've had good experiences with auxbeams as well, but I did add cheap insurance - taking apart the housings, greasing the seals, and adding RTV to the external ingress points for water - around the lens, around the wiring gasket, etc.
