I applaud those mods, I’m sure it’s a shit show keeping the 3rd Gen section clean.

I understand the filing costs and the state differences.

But consider...... would you invest $100 to recoup $800? Many times the court will award the court costs on top of the claim.

 

This. Sue for suffering aka flight costs, hotel costs etc + court fees and the $800 claim.

 

I also applaud the mods for all the effort.

I belong to a boating/fishing forum that’s frequented by scammers in the private sale threads, and even after multiple members ID a scammer the mods will not remove them. They certainly won’t do any of the things the mods in this thread have done. They DGAF.

 

Anyone with a 704 area code or neighboring one been able to get him to pick up the phone or text back?

I plan on filing in small claims court in 2022. My parents are living in East TN and I’ve been wanting to go to Charlotte to visit and see a Hornets game. I have a plan for before I have to go that far though. I know he is reading these posts so I can’t divulge too much.

So whats the update? Honestly I would just take the bullet and live for another day. You got scammed, small claims aint gonna do much. I think this is just gonna boil your blood up and thats it. My father was a contractor and he would always say these people didnt pay him, my dad would always say “well I guess they need the money more than I do, What do you want me to do? Kill em? No, they can keep ther money, I’m good”. Just my opinion, you do what you think is right.
