Blind spot monitor isn’t a huge deal. If I wanted to keep it though I’d probably 3D fab a bracket to mount either inside the bedside or behind the bumper somehow.

Steel flat stock I had in the garage, similar to the other relocation brackets.

it was roughly 3-4” x 1.5” ( I think 3/16), just drilled 2 holes for the distance change and painted.

Got the CHMSL recall done. Good thing I didn’t have any leakage at all. I was almost hesitant to fix something that isn’t broken. At least now if it leaks later they’ll cover it.
…and in a couple of hours I’m meeting with @TacoManOne to upgrade from KD max 6.0 wife tip to PRO! I can’t wait!!! I’ll get to test it from Idaho to Montana tomorrow…

I was reading on another forum about some Tundra owners who had serious frame rot years after Toyota supposedly fixed the problem. The undercoated them and called it a day. Later when the frames started to rot Toyota said FU, not our problem. So I wouldn't count on Toyota standing behind this fix years from now.

I chose not to use the X Grip for the same reason. I've never been fond of the design, because you can't easily put your phone in it with one hand.

I just got the KDMax pro normal tip, has plenty of response, I’d worry the sport might be a bit jumpy, especially if you’re a city driver. Great tune tho, highly impressed.
