For what it’s worth for anyone shopping, the SR is a great bargain these days with a very good list of standard tech. $38k buys an SR 4x4, a lift, 4.88s, dual lockers, and 33s.

Either this guy is an NBA player or he's standing on a crate. There is no way you can access the bed that easily unless you are really tall.

Regarding the trail, am I right that there will be 4 color option? Green, lunar, white, and black?

That's correct. In my area though, green and lunar were the only colors available.

Yeah, white and green will look the best with the bronze accents. If I didn't want another Pro so much I would do the trail edition and sell those useless bed boxes.

Any idea if the bed boxes will work on other models?

From my understanding it shouldn't be an issue. There are just 6 bolts holding it down.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I dig em. I wonder if Toyota will sell them standalone…probably for an outrageous price.

I like them too, but will probably have them out most of the time. I'm sure you will be able to find them "used" for a reasonable price once the trail editions start rolling out.

Excited to see all the colors out in the wild . People on here hate on the white, but we have the white 4Runner and it looks great. Is it true there in no clear coat?

He's a wizard, obviously. You can tell because he's about to inflate his bike tires with an air mattress pump that clearly won't fit a Presta valve.
