got some H9's and trimmed the tabs, they'll go in tomorrow. Then I made the mistake of looking at the Baja Designs website and now I think I might need a pair of S1 spot lights.

 

Yea we really get hammered. This was near Mono Lake a few weeks ago when we were on vacation. I just kept on driving Sorry for gettin off topic...

 

Pretty sure its got nothing to do with the chrome & everything to do with the color keyed being moulded with the holes & mounts for the back up & blind spot sensors.

Today’s side project didn’t take long to do at all. I’ve lived this long and yet, have never used a rivet gun. So have I really lived, or am I just that lucky? We’ll, it’s not luck since I’m the guy who breaks something on every project and turns a 5 min. project into two hours and three trips to Home Depot. I’m not going to say it was perfect, but I actually got it done pretty quick and the rivets went smooth and held tight This, along with most of the projects or “mods” I’ve been doing on this truck, (like the automatic tailgate lock) should’ve came standard and installed by the factory imo. Especially with the weight of the taco hood.

 

The biggest issue with these would be if you plan to run ditch lights. The ditch lights would hit your windshield.

 

And or possibly your Amateur radio antenna that uses the hood mount to attach. Normal hood pole no issues, this high up, possibly.

 

Today is my Taco's birthday. One year old.

 

Y'all..... It's happening!
Tomorrow after classes, I will start the prep and disassembly phases. I hope to have her back up and running by Saturday evening.

That’s good to know. I didn’t extend it as far as I could’ve because I wanted to be able to reach the top of the hood to close it lol
