I’ve lived this long and yet, have never used a rivet gun. So have I really lived, or am I just that lucky? :D We’ll, it’s not luck since I’m the guy who breaks something on every project and turns a 5 min. project into two hours and three trips to Home Depot. I’m not going to say it was perfect, but I actually got it done pretty quick and the rivets went smooth and held tight  This, along with most of the projects or “mods” I’ve been doing on this truck, (like the automatic tailgate lock) should’ve came standard and installed by the factory imo. Especially with the weight of the taco hood.

The biggest issue with these would be if you plan to run ditch lights. The ditch lights would hit your windshield.

And or possibly your Amateur radio antenna that uses the hood mount to attach. Normal hood pole no issues, this high up, possibly.

    Y'all..... It's happening!
Tomorrow after classes, I will start the prep and disassembly phases. I hope to have her back up and running by Saturday evening.
I will try to post some form of process write up/ notes after I get everything together. I will post the full updates on my build thread, which hasn't been touched in a while lol.

And I'll do a shameless plug as well: I'm trying to get a TW Discord going (again).

That’s good to know. I didn’t extend it as far as I could’ve because I wanted to be able to reach the top of the hood to close it lol

In a couple of year that might be $10...maybe sooner, I noticed that within 3 days price literally jumped .3 cents (Canuck)...we are being pushed like the Europeans have been for years...give up your personal vehicles...properties...and you'll be happy...if you know where I'm going.

I blame you for me spending money. I saw your post then got curious. Then looked up their website. And now I own two damn medic kits. The moto medic PRO and the FlakLarge PRO. 500 dollars later

Replaced my OE battery (Jan 2016). Finally took a dump with the colder weather hitting.
Snapped this bolt though by over tightening it.

Anyone have a replacement part #? Or just get a new lug assembly?
