Heys guys, getting ready to put an exhaust on my taco and I can't decide which one to get. I am deciding between a Flowmaster and Gibson. I am to get good sound with it.

    What do you all think?

3" Revtek w/ add leaf, Borla Dual Exhaust.
Borla Duals...they grawl. Teamed these with my JBA shorty headers and K&N intake...HP gain for real.

Depends on what you're looking for. If it's increased hp/performance, might want to re-direct your money to something proven to increase hp. If it's sound, go for what you like. If you're considering a catback, might want to consider just replacing the muffler as that will give you pretty much all the gains you'll get from a catback. A catback by itself might get you 2-3hp at the high end of the rpm range. Kind of a big $$$ outlay for that kind of increase.

I like the sound of the flowmaster but my wife likes the sound of the gibson. She thinks it sounds deeper. But i disagree with her on that.

I have a 2011 Tacoma Double cab and I am looking for a good exhaust as well. I really like the Flowmaster kit with the dual tips. Has anyone installed this system?

i put on moto metal 950 chrome wheels, afe cold air intake, flowmaster muffler with dual exhaust,JBA headers, trifold extang bed tarp, stainless steel stepside bars,3" lift in front,3" lift in the rear, chrome door handle covers, chrome grille insert cover, tinted windows with blacked out visor, and taillight covers
I have an 08 trd sport 4x4 double cab with flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust and a AFE cold air intake. It sounds good but when you are driving down the road and hit about 3-4 rpm it intimidates other trucks, it sounds awesome.
