Yes, depending on what we cram under the hood determines what type of struts can be installed. My project box with relays for my off road lights installed on top of the fuse box cleared by 1/4". I was lucky it all worked out.

My thought as well. It’d be worthwhile if I was going to install or carry onboard air in there, but I mostly see folks tossing a couple tiedowns in this cubby. Not much of a return on cost/effort.

My 2019 also does not have the cubby and my initial thought was to cut in and install one, but since I have much more storage available via MOLLE pouches, I decided against the cubby and to just drill into the bed to install 2 M6 rivnuts so the lower mounting tabs of my MOLLE panel could be secured, as it was designed to use two of the screws from the cubby as tiedown points. The panel was perfectly secure without, but I realllllly like symmetry and wanted the lower tabs secured as they are on my passenger side panel.

Day of over thinking....LOL. I know I want to get a set of A pillar lights. looking at baja designs for sure. Just a matter of spot or Combo if I go spot it would be S1. if I go combo, i'd be getting Squadron sport. Gonna do my H9 swap in a little bit to get my mind off of it.

Thanks for the heads up. AJT is top notch and these look cool. Says its a replacement, not an overlay, so I hope installation is easy. I'm in for a set of AG. Thanks OP!!

Put a cheap license plate camera on the front of my truck to replace the one that was getting blurry from road weathering on the lens. Was all excited about how nice it was for $10 until I realized the image is reversed and I can’t do anything about it! Now it’s steer right for left around the rock and steer left for right around the rock…:notsure:

Now that I'm did my 30 days of TW jail, I can post that I actually sold the truck lol. No hard feelings moderators, I deserved it.

Anyway, stripped all the mods off and moved it on down the line. Got a great offer on it. Couldn't believe they wanted it that bad but hey, I was able to upgrade into the new Tactical Green 2022 Frontier Pro4x. I don't have anything bad to say about the Tacoma. Great truck, just got a killer deal on the Fronty and took it. I love what Nissan has done with the redesign and the 3.8l with the 9speed drives great.
