While I've never had a seafood boil, that's how they're supposed to be served so that makes it alright.

It would be like not wanting the noodles and chicken to touch in your soup.

I won't validate that monstrosity with a direct response lol. Kidding, I'm sure it's good, just not one of the traditional Cajun meals I know and love. I like my crawfish boiled in red water (crawfish boil has lots of cayenne) and dumped on a table with several hundred of its buddies.

None of that old bay shite.

I mix my mashed potatoes and corn. And baked beans. I also like to eat a bite of warm baked beans and cold cottage cheese together. My wife likes her mashed potatoes with cottage cheese.

Slop pretty much any foods (that I like) together and I'm fine with it. Not ice cream and mashed taters...nothing like that.

The kid who used to work for me said that I would eat canned dog food if it was microwaved first --- I don't think my standards are that low...

    Full disclosure:
I have been witnessed eating pizza that fell on the garage floor -- cheese up on a fairly clean spot.

Well fellers, today's episode of Past Tech with Rusty finds us spending a bit of time with the 1960 Wayne air compressor.

    KIMG1844.jpg

After 60 + years the check/head unloader valve didn't check very well any more and the tank would lose pressure in a day or two. As I frequently said at my old job -- air is expensive.

    KIMG1843.jpg

The part was about $30, almost identical, a 1/2" longer pipe nipple was all that was required.

    KIMG1842.jpg

As I had already wheezed up to my top speed (that of a snail) I adjusted the belts too. Note the picture, genuine Wayne belts. Original?

She took off just like always, I used my new cool non contact tachometer - the pump turns at 378 RPM.

This old girl and I have that in common -- not fast, we just chug along.
