These are all full with the exception of the top black Plano ammo crate in the center of the pic but that will be filled real soon....And the ones on the top shelf are just MTM magazine cans filled

Its will be awhile before that happens as I am not as close to these as I was in VA plus I am finding them to be one the high side on guns, mags and other stuff....

Right around the Newtown thing happened CTD had a huge magpul sale including magazines @ $9 bucks each so I ordered about 10/15 of them. The Newtown thing happened order was canceled and mages were $50 each..... I have not been back to their website!

FWIW I've tried my best to keep ammo reasonable...however because I'm a small shop and cannot afford to place multi million dollar yearly orders direct from manufacturers...I'm stuck purchasing "allocations" from distributors at higher prices

Many of your small shops may be in the same boat

It sucks sometimes as there is an Academy about 10 minutes away but what they win in ammo pricing...I can almost always beat them on gun prices

I get it...its hard to stomach paying $20 to $30 for a box of 9mm when you've spent years buying blazer brass for $9 a box....but I'd bet that the inflated prices are just because of the inflated cost for the dealer to even get it in the shop

I want to get cheaper ammo...I want to put high quality low priced ammo on the shelves...but damn its fucking tough

Ammo has to be one of the hardest things to sell at a reasonable price right now because i'm sure a lot of distributers are loaded with ammo they bought at inflated prices as well. Once this weeds its self out prices should come back down to more reasonable prices.

Yeah they’re well-known for being gouging opportunists with no loyalty to the community whatsoever. All they care about is money. I wouldn’t piss on them to put out a fire.

Got everything mounted on the Staccato. Reinstalling the leaf spring was ‘interesting’ to say the least when mounting the magwell. Similar but not quite the same as a 1911. Has a tiny notch that needs to seat correctly to catch the sear. Took a little head-scratching at first but finally figured it out. So glad to have it finished and in my hand :D Now I just need to go shoot it!

Went into Walmart to grab something and I usually find my best deals on 22lr in there. They had 1 box of Federal Fusion 6.5 Crredmore for $37 and they had a good bit of 22lr. It looked like 350 round boxes of SuperX or something but they wanted $40 a box i politely said no thanks and left. I usually get the Federal 325 rund boxes for $18 IDK what was so special about this stuff

I guess but it just took me by suprise it is such a departure from what they have been offering in that caliber. I have enough 22lr that I am comfortable with it but will still buy it if I find a good deal.
