I might be a dumb@ss but do we have an ETA for these?

I’m not trying to be impatient, but the wife is asking for Christmas ideas and I’d love to say “these, get these” but if they’re not available before then, I’ll grab a set myself after. I know that I could always get them as an IOU gift but I’m a child when it comes to Christmas gifts and want stuff to open.

 

That is the obvious target. So far nothing to indicate it will for sure be missed. But, of course, not available for purchase today so I wouldn't bet on it for black Friday or anything.

I don't think you'll get much of anything more concrete than that. There are always shipping delays which could throw a wrench in things. A few moving pieces, multiple retailers, etc.

But, yes, the hope is available for under the tree.

I’m up on top of a mountain trying to hunt and also coordinate a bid war over a home I want. So if I’m MIA for a bit I apologize. Here are some responses:

The ETA is a pre order in early or mid December hosted by the vendors. Then about a week or two after that you should have product in hand. My harnesses are nearing completion and then it’s just up to VLEDS to finish production on the redesigned lights, package, and send. Hopefully they’ll be under the tree, but if not you’ll at least have them pre-ordered and it won’t be long after that. The pacing item is the light redesign but it looks like that is going okay.

It’s tough trying to sling units on $12 of operating capital If we have delays just blame @memario1214 for insufficient funds.

5500K white, aqua blue, standard blue, and red. They will not operate with the dome light in this configuration, but 2.0 probably will. The release version will operate with the door unlocked / opened for full brightness (with a fade on and off), and then the dim setting will be triggered when the dash lights are on. Full bright takes priority though, so if you have your headlights on and open the door they’ll go full brightness and then fade back to dim. Pretty sweet.

Color options, all those selectable by the user or just two?

Brightness was selectable by PWM for the dimmer option, but how bright will it go? Can I relive my circa-2003 ricer fantasies? I know the 2.0 dome option would give you max brightness, but if I’ve got my lights on, where am I at?

Again, I really dig it and plan to buy, just want to understand better. I swear I’m only a moron on the internet.
