Ya, I've known Mark for years. My wife drove up to pick ours up (6hrs each way) while I was at work, she tried to get them install while there, but they wouldn't :( But agree they have a great team.

Yeah, I found that out this summer as well. I got an upgraded tailgate for my F-250 and took it to my buddies body shop to have him spray it for me. I pulled up and we were talking and he asked me to go drive my truck through the car wash (covered in mud from my weekend excursion). I told him I had the paint code and he kind of laughed……walked back with the samples from my paint code and there were over 60 of the exact same color! So I went through the car wash, drove back and after about 30 minutes he finally picked the color he felt matched best (I’m color blind so the ALL looked great to me!). He told me the same thing, depends on what plant it was painted, what month, what batch, etc. I had NO idea - I thought you give them the paint code and waalaa - done. He told me 25-30 years ago it was more like that, but not anymore. Ended up turning out perfect, but man I had no idea!

Bumpershellz bumper chrome delete. I think this looks sooooo much better, only took about 20 minutes to install. Now just to get rid of these chromed out tail lights.

Looks good! I bought a set of OEM 2020+ TRD Pro taillights from Toyota a few months ago. They usually range between $250-$350+. There are cheaper options but I think the newer TRD Pro taillights look the best on these tacomas so its worth it in my opinion

those are nice!!! I’ll have to call around about those. Don’t know the year model off the top of my head but the red and smoke TRD off road tail light is what I was picturing. Thanks for sharing!

Just wait until the new MESO taillights come out and the BST section will be filled with used Pro taillights with MESO Total Tails Stage 1.

Pardon my ignorance but are all Taco tail lights interchangeable or are some only compatible with certain models? I have a lowly SR and would like to upgrade but don't want to order a set I can't use because they're not compatible.

Dang, that sucks. I'm sure they'll reimburse you with another product. I've heard they're pretty good with their customer service.

To each their own (obviously) but I just don't get the appeal of those lights.

so my approach was not for aesthetics but moreso because even with swapping the dome bulb with an LED from DD (high quality stuff) there wasn’t enough light emitted to even see the rear floorboards. I think it’s more of a placement issue to be honest (dome light is placed too far forward) and angle, but I figured I’d try the MESO option for better output.

Woke up and saw this at Quinn’s Hot Springs parking lot in Paradise Montana. We’re even parked in the same order of the US map. That should be @TacoManOne on the WA spot. Lol

Gotcha. I didn't realize they threw that much light. That would definitely make the functionality outweigh the asthetic. And to be clear, my post wasn't intended dis on anything. I'm sure some of the crap I've put on my truck would turn others off. Haha.

And like I said, I've read that Meso is pretty good with their customer service. I'm hoping they make it right for you.

Sidebar, I thought I saw a post somewhere in this thread (or somewhere) for aftermarket floor board lighting? I've been looking for that for a few days now.

I just installed the new pro tail lights in my '17 OR and they fit perfectly. Very pleased. I'm guessing the tail lights are consistent between years/trims - but don't quote me on that...:notsure:
