If anyone in Bellevue (East of Seattle) are interested in KDMAX Pro, I’ll be at the Toyota Garage (Michaels Toyota of Bellevue) on Sat eve and Sunday morning.

    Show up and get tuned!

Through December 31st, South Texas Tacoma Tunes (STTT) offers the KDMax Pro at the same cost as the previous KDMax tune. STTT's price for the new KDMax Pro goes up on January 1st. Get in while the gettin's good folks, and get your reviews out there!

You've read the reviews, you know the tune has a track record (by my estimate) close to two thousand Tacomas strong.

It's time to take the KDMax plunge you indecisive twit! :p

"I regret getting a KDMax tune on my Tacoma."

Well I have about 600 miles since I updated to the Pro tune, as like the past tunes all were major improvements. The Pro has the best feeling pedal feel of any tune, little more power down low and the shifts are crisp but smoother as before there was some spratic at times clunky noises in the shifts but not bad. All in all just a major improement as the mpg do improve. I think the tune is running more on the lean side than before. My exhaust tip always had some black exhaust residue that I wiped off after each time driving it, now nowhere as bad. Major difference, very happy!!!!

I’ve been in the customer service business going on 40 years and have got to say the service I’ve seen received from Kreg is second to none.

And this is on a product the KDmax team could easily just sell and walk away from.

Upgraded from wife tip 6.0 to Regular Pro Thursday night! What a difference! The shifting and power delivery is so much better and precised. Thanks @TacoManOne and KDMax creators.
I just drove about 150 miles yesterday from Udaho to Montana and I am so happy when I press the gas pedal and it just goes and barely notice the shifting. I forgot to try the cruise control as the roads were wet and snowy in some parts…might try it on the way back tomorrow.

Hey Vlady, what exactly do you mean by troubleshooting PRO? Which Pro are you referring to, KDMaxPRO or the FV Pro software ?
Your question is pretty vague..let us know what you need so we can help.
    Thank you.

I have a lazy upshift to 5 under all loads on a cold and warm engine. Everything else is good and there are no concerns.
I've seen this in the past with tuned opt. torque tables.
After 200 miles on Pro, I switched back to mine tune(stock opt torque tables) and the upshift is good.
I'll bug Kreg to move upshift speed up and down a bit to see if this makes a difference.
    Thanks.

By lazy do you mean holding 4 for too long? I asked Kreg to set the upshift to 5 for mine to be 75kph so it never makes it into 5 in city driving conditions.

Actual the shift is slow, almost causing a nose dive. The shift points are good.
I have a weird axle code A04A. So based on some references, it could be 3.73 diff ratio vs 3.91.

Not sure if it plays the role in converting the output shaft speed to kph.

If I upgrade to KDMax Pro, can I flash with vF Flash Tool version 1.3.2 or do I have to upgrade to vF Tuner 1.4.4?

You should always be updating to the current version. Vftuner is being upgraded all the time you should update as they come for any added benefits they may have.

I'm not interested in doing my own tunes. I just want to continue to be able to flash. I downloaded and installed 1.4.4 which no longer has vF Flash Tool. It is not clear at all how to get a master key or credits. I sent an email to zendesk, but Matt may be out for a bit.
