You'll love the high-torque. With a big battery that can bust track pads off an excavator!

Finally a package of red tools in which I have absolutely no interest whatsoever!

I wish HD would put all the Milwaukee deals/displays roughly in the same area. Here they are scattered and one has to remember what each one is while looking at another. My brain can't handle the sea of red.

Those that have the HACKZALL, Do you have the M12 or the M18? What do you think about the tool?

I have the M18 non fuel and its great. I honestly don't know why I would need the fuel.

I have M12 Hackzall and M18 fuel Sawzall.

Fuel is honestly too much for most stuff for me (average Joe / weekend warrior) and I usually go for the M12 because it's just handier and easier to wield.

That said... The handful of times I've needed the extra power and benefitted from the extra weight of the M18, I've been glad I had it.

I have the M18 Fuel version. I'm not doing major demo with it, but I feel it has good leverage. The compact size is the plus, allowing you to get in tighter spaces and at better angles.

Not until seeing your post this morning did I actually read the question... I was like "compact size" ... "tighter space" .... "better angle"?! Wtf are you talking about this thing is huge!

I was half asleep yesterday when I commented. @MARSHBUSTER ... my comment was comparing M12 Hackzall to M18 Sawzall ... I forgot there was an M18 version of the hackzall.

I had 2 m12 fuels that both failed me, I’m not sure why, they are my only tools that stopped working. That’s been about 3 years ago or so. That said, they were great while they lasted. I bought the m18 now because that’s the majority of my tools and I have had no problems, just not quite as compact and lightweight as the 12.

Have had it for a year now… if I was to buy it part of a kit nice, wouldn’t spend $99 alone on it again. I think there was a M12 fuel kit with hammer drill and hackzal for $169 with two 4 ah batteries a while back.

I think it was tool, battery and charger kit. Who doesn't need another charger, right? Kinda like the 32 cupholders in the Taco. :D
