installed mine today, grommets and all… I ended up cutting about 6 inches or so off the rod so that I could notch it in the gap between the tube and the floor for more support…0B680682-B4F1-42AA-9337-3213E3B42A45.jpg

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I love mine and I also shortened it to fit exactly how I wanted. Hard to beat for the money. Also nice it matches my cement taco! Really diggin the Luna, hard to beat right there.

I bet, I had a buddy order a ClearView fridge slide (check them out) from AU. It took forever, but it was well worth it, as nothing comes close to comparison.

I have a few questions for you GoFast owners if you don't mind:
    1. Is it possible to have a double sleeping bag (two regular sleeping bags zipped together making a single large one), two standard fluffy pillows, and a thin wool blanket stored inside the V2? I'm hoping that with this all evenly distributed on the inside, to have a minimal thickness without high spots, it would close without much force. I'm a bit worried about forcing the lid down with the honeycomb panel.
    2. I read starting from page 60 (around when V2 was announced), and I didn't seem to hear any major complaints. Are there any common issues surfacing yet?
    3. Is it possible to open and close the tailgate without first opening the GoFast hatch?
    4. Has anyone installed pouches on the inside similar to the Alu-Cab 3.1 tent? I'm imaging cross bars to the integrated tracks and then pouches attached to the cross bars, for small stuff like cell phone, chargers, Kleenex, etc. Would this be detrimental to question #1?

    1. I end up storing 2 standard pillows 2 down sleeping bags and in the winter, 2 thermarest Z-lite mats in the wedge. It fits with a little bulge in the middle of the honeycomb panel. Takes a little extra flex on the top, but not much. If it fits, it ships.

Been thinking about a security’s motion detector light for my camper. One that would alert me via my phone.

I have this on my home via RING solar lights. Anyone know of one that uses Bluetooth?
I doubt I could get my Ring light to work with out a WiFi connection and the Bridge required for it to work.

    Thoughts?

I do have a solar motion light, but one that alerts me would be killer.

Spotted an OG GFC in Yosemite. Cool solar hookup too.

Those w/ Prinsu or Martin racks w/ GFC, is this a good cost/benefit setup, i.e. do you find you use this rack and it gives you ample storage compared to cost and other things like wind noise or gas mileage decrease? Would you go this route rather than a GFC Beef Rack or a combination of the two for more cargo capacity?

Anyone know whether GFC has ever offered a Black Friday sale? (for accessories)

we have one on each of our trucks, the SB gfc one is big enough for stuff, although we mostly just run some maxtrax up there, i think they help a bit in headwinds (def on my 2nd gen with a drifter) and give some options for added equipment

Could you post some pics of how you ran the wire through the GFC? Waiting on build and trying to figure out how to run dust lights, camp lights, solar, etc
