Yeah, I can probably stick my arm through the bed on the xtra cab. On the plus side, I can cut out sections of the damaged DC bed and transplant them to the xtra cab.

    Wait why?

Your not going to try and resurrect the double cab?

The bedsides of the double cab are crushed. The floor I can salvage for the Xtra cab's rust holes. I'm on my way to Denver now for a replacement bed for the double cab.

Ran down to Denver and picked up a bed, rear passenger door, complete gas tank, charcoal box, and replacements for the headrests and rear view mirror that were missing. Still need to find a driver's side door and fender but I think the X cab will be a donor until I can locate some new ones.

I'll repaint the truck in spring/summer. I'm tempted to run another color since this is Lunar Mist #3.

Haha I need less irons in the fire and at least it served as a donor for the door and fender. Already have those swapped over.
I've already installed the gas tank, charcoal box, new muffler and the bed among other things.

Biggest problems now is trying to figure out why my tail lights wont turn on. The brake light, turn signals and back up lights all work however.

Also need to tear into the interior and fix the damaged A pillar. I bought a stud welder so hopefully that will do the trick.

tail fuse blown? i had an annoying issue with my tail fuse blowing... turned out to be the locking differential position switch causing that whole mess...

Doesn't appear to be blown. I've also removed a wiring mess underneath the kick panel and the trailer wiring harness to see if that was effecting it. Tried replacing the bulb too. Possibly corrosion? New tail lights should be here tomorrow.

yea. i'd recon its the assembly then. i've seen them quick working properly when the bayonet holders corrode enough that the ground no longer... well grounds.
