    Thats good to know thanks…..heres something for those of you that have the recirculating air button that shuts off when the temps drop and then you have to hold it for like 2 seconds to reset it on. These units don’t do that function. I sent a copy of the page from my owners manual to Eric, a tech with Aucar and he sent me a software update a fews days later that now allows my unit a long press on the button in the pic below to accomplish this function.

    No I wish, I have family on the Big Island (Kapaau) I was just their the first two weeks of Oct. I don't think I have seen so many lifted Tacos in my life everywhere Choke Tacko's Bra!

    Ha Nice! Anyway didn't mean to jack your thread, this unit looks pretty nice and I might take the plunge! On the web site it says to contact them to make sure it will fit. Do you know if they have had any issues with fitment with any years that they are advertising for?

    Good to know! I have a 09 with the JBL system, so I'm guessing that the opening on the Tacoma years mentioned are all the same.

    I used a Homelink garage door opener I got off eBay like the one linked below.

    I soldered two wires to the button and hooked them up to the garage door button I got from On board Air. I also hooked the Homelink to ACC power so it only works with the car on.
