Love this. I’m not sure if I shared my pics from last month…My first time seeing the lights and photographing with my iPhone freehand. This was up over the water between Newfoundland and Greenland.

Here's what two weeks of landing and taking off from unprepared desert does to rotor blades. Even the heavy duty blade paint doesn't last longer than the first few minutes.

Some of you may have heard about the recent flooding of some low lying areas of the B.C. lower mainland. Lots of farmland, cattle and poultry farms. This is the silt from the runoff heading out to sea. A mess on the ground, and disastrous to marine life.

The line between Fraser River water and the ocean mixing is evident year round, pretty cool to see. The toxic mix from the flooded Sumas Prairie is going to be a drop in the bucket of total outflow from the Fraser River. https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinte...flow_from_the_fraser_river_as_seen_from_west/

...^^^... Must be some rich people in that flight club to buy that aircraft ... :spending:

FWIW. ... I see those a lot at PDK and was told that the manufacturer keeps their production numbers low ... to keep the aircraft prices high.

I think it’s someone hiding assets in the club as it’s not for club members to fly. I’ve asked around and everyone in the know is pretty tight lipped about it. Money flows like water in NW AR, so you never really know.

Yeah, I'm familiar with that. The brown zone. Doesn't extend very far out Never seen anything like this in the 17 years I've been flying into Vancouver. This was being vectored onto an 8 mile final. Pretty wild. It was there yesterday too, but not noticeable coming in this morning. Beauty of a sunrise though. Here's one from short final.

i would think the zone gets pushed around by the tide, northward on a flood, south on an ebb.
