Naw I've read a lot about the Hitachi rebrands.

Japanese-company with tools made in China, but a big step up from HF.

If I went with the German Metabo company, that'll cost me much more than my M18 Fuel even.

The backcountry drug aficionados around here build some pretty creative overlanding vehicles. I once saw an SUV that had an auxiliary fuel tank on the roof. Literally a gas tank taken from another truck and strapped to the roof.

When I was out wheeling yesterday our group ran into this guy. He's going to kill someone driving 65+ mph on the trails at night. He was blinding us with his lightbar and ditch lights while blocking the main road for 2-3 minutes. Then he sped off into the night once he figured out how to move again... more obnoxious than the Jeep club.

Picture was taken in March. Confirmed to be the same truck based off the Punisher stickers and weird chase light location.

Lmaoo. So minor issue is my idle. My throttle body seems to be sticking some when I tried revving it after it warmed up when I started it back up after the reinstall. It holds around 1500-2000. Big one is the two bearings in the nose one. When I pressed it in, it took some effort to get it pushed in, and I didn’t get it all the way in with the press. After I noticed that, I used the ol’ hammer and extension to try tapping it in a bit more. Well it went in and when putting on the pulley I noticed that the bearing was now a bit loose. It wouldn’t happen consistently, but the outer race seemed to rotate just a bit when rotating the the shaft.

I would post in here and ask, it's a pretty active thread with 3.4l supercharger owners and will likely get more convo going

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3-4l-supercharger.629337/page-190#post-26528528

This thread moves so fast with the BS that most serious matters get little attention lol

I feel like it went over because the video was cut off. I get the gut reaction to grab it but things can go bad fast.

Maybe. I’m not super familiar with components names on the TB but I know how it’s supposed to work. There’s the two main cables going it it. The one that resets the TB seems to not be fully pulling it back into position. If I manually push it back it goes down to its normal 600-700 idle. I can make a video and show if that description doesn’t make sense. I’m pretty sure I just gotta pull it off, clean and readjust everything but that was just problems I noticed after it’s first startup. I’m more concerned with the nose one bearing spinning the outer race.

if you can pull it back chances are you've got a cable too tight

The throttle cable seems to be slack when it’s at an idle position. I’m about to head back out and mess with it some more after having a few performance enhancing beers I didn’t have in me earlier.
