Yeah, and I have no reason to doubt that it was installed correctly by my mechanic...

You don't unbolt the springs from the axle when you do the frame, hence why you see it rolling with them attached.

The Toyota Dealer replaced the springs on my old 2008 and had everything installed backwards, it had to go back to be corrected.

Well at this point I am more inclined to believe that the dealer fucked up, rather than my mechanic, and if the dealer corrects it I don't really give a shit because I don't have to pay!

To be fair the colour coding is hard to understand, but they could have called a dealer.

It's not the end of the world, and if your ride height is equal both sides, I'd just leave the leafs, leafs, leaves, leaf springs.

So this won't pose a safety issue? And it isn't making my truck ride and rougher?

I was supposed to go paintballing in New Jersey with my neighbor tomorrow, and I have a loaner, but for reasons I'm sure you all can understand I want my dad present when I talk to the service guy on the phone tomorrow; So, I'm skipping the paintball trip...

    I fucking hate dealerships!

As I look through the photos, it’s obvious that the springs were replaced by the dealer. You have a photo of the leaves laying on the floor off of the axle. I can’t comment on the color of the paint indicating which side they go on because I don’t know but if others stated they are swapped side to side, I’d point that out to them.

before the winter comes, spray the frame. I like Amsoil HD metal protect but others use cosmoline, woolwax, or fluid film.

They were doing the leafs as part of the package..at least on mine they did, but mine were stockers. Not sure if they necessarily have to remove them for the job per se, such as @PennSilverTaco who wouldn't need them.

only reason to unbolt from axle is if the frame or shackle bushings are frozen in the frame bolts. Other than that the tech just made extra work for him/herself and caused a rework issue for installation of springs on the wrong side.
