Gotcha. Didn't give it any thought in my case as I knew I was getting new leafs as part of the program..mine were the stockers and I never had them replaced, so original with the truck.

Note how the American flag sticker is intact in the quoted photo; Don't know why they scraped it off, but I didn't actually pay anything for it so I don't think I'm gonna say anything about it...

I think you can get roll up windows on Silverado WT's too.

As long as the transmission is done correctly this time; Also, I forgot to mention that the brakes felt a bit "spongy"...

Maybe it has something to with the fact that I was a driving a brand new sedan with 4-wheel disc brakes that's a lot lighter than my 12-year old truck with rear drum brakes...?

Could be. I know they are replacing all your metal lines at least plus flushing the fluid.

There’s a chance air has not been fully bled out of the system. Give a few days, bubbles rise to the top, the old buoyancy law. If it’s still mushy just bleed them yourself it’s a 10 mm and 5 mins of work. I like to minimize my time spent at a dealer for things I can do myself.

I can change oil, I can change a tire, I can change spark plugs, I can replace headlights and taillights, and I can install stereos; However, I've never messed with brakes and don't feel comfortable doing so...

I'll probably just have my mechanic bleed them; How do you bleed the brakes anyway?

Same way you purge air out of any liquid system. Pressurize and let air out of the high points, aka vent or bleeder valves

There’s no need to pay absorbent amounts of money for something that takes no special tools or skills.

    YouTube would be of help

In short, have a buddy press down on the brake pedal. Hold it there.
Then you, while your buddy is still holding down the pedal, crack open the bleeder screw.
Have your buddy yell when the pedal goes to the floor. (You don’t have to press it hard. Once it “stops” don’t stomp the pedal harder)
    Close bleeder screw.
Pump brake pedal 3-4 times. Hold it down.
Repeat steps above until no more air comes out.

It also helps to use a clear hose attached to the bleeder. That way you can see the air bubbles easier AND you won’t have a mess, since you can place the end of the hose in a bottle/bucket . . .

thats the best and easiest way, aside from paying for a vacuum bleeder system. But a cheap HF hand pump will do the same if you have an idea of what’s going on. Key point is make sure reservoir doesn’t go dry in the process.

The threads about having abs and air trapped are just idiots that don’t know what they’re doing. I’ve bled brakes in anything from a dirt bike to a brand new BMW, there is no difference if you follow proper bleeding protocols.

I have a positive pressure unit and also an air powered vacuum unit, both work quite well.

Yep I’d say both work equally well it’s a matter of how much money you want to spend and how much versatility you want. I’m cheap and just give a friend a beer every 3-4 years to work the brake pedal
