Unfortunately mine are past that point. I've rarely used it. I doubt I can find the CR 1025 batteries easily so it might be time to upgrade. This damn project car is costing me alot more than just sheet metal, bondo, and paint

You have a very valid point. I'm just at the point where now it's at the "are you fucking kidding me!?" stage with everything. Oh well, gotta spend that promotion money somehow

Those 1025s are fairly common....especially if you have a Batteries Plus around. I bet Walmart as them too

Kept poking my screwdriver around and kept getting disappointed...

Looks like I got more metal to patch... :annoyed:

Atleast my heater kept me warm. 5 gallons of diesel was $20 o_O

140K BTU forced air heater. Can run on Kerosene, Diesel #1 and #2, and heating oil. It's best to run on Kero, but it's creeping twords $5/gallon in my area so I just filled it up with diesel.

    https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...ne-forced-air-heater-mh-140t-kfa?cm_vc=-10005

Bought it last year on sale for $200. Quickly heats my un-insulated drafty garage. However, you gotta be careful with them as far as carbon monoxide goes. I crack the garage door a little bit as shown...

Yea, nobody believes me, but 30° in the South is far different than 30° in the North. Lived in Mississippi for 8+ years and 30° there was frigid compared to where I'm at now. We had a couple nights of 15° and that just about killed me, and froze the washer fluid in my Jetta as we had no cold weather versions down there o_O

Speaking of cold weather, reminds me I need to get off my lazy ass and get the snow-blower going

Coldest temperature I’ve experienced was 18° out in the West Texas desert near Marfa. The lack of humidity made it quite tolerable.

Had a close call last night with the tundra. Friend and I were having a poke down the highway in separate vehicles, and after some wang waving he called me to ask if I was throwing things out the window. Of course I wasn't, why would he ask? He let me know there were sparks coming out from under my truck. Needless to say I pulled over pretty quick, and we discovered a small fire on one of the cats before the y pipe. Some rapid application of water from a water bottle took care of that. All we can assume is I got sawdust/debris packed into its heat shield when driving through the mill yard. Add some spirited driving and the heat, voila! Combustion!
