Snowin like a mother here right now. Close to white out conditions. Ride in to work was nice the truck slid once when someone in a civic decided they didnt like their lane anymore and wanted to take mine with no signal and no warning. Truck grabbed back on the road and kept me away from the light pole :D

We are getting hit by "the beast" as they're calling it now, with a final snowfall of like 16" I think. I decided to throw on my new tires yesterday right before it hit, holy shit! It made a world of difference. Driving in snow now is the perfect level of "fun"... lots of squirreliness without the annoying spinning without going anywhere

I've read the previous posts, but, are you guys serious about the 2wd doing ok in the snow.My last truck was a 1993 Ford F-150 2wd...good truck until the snow fell...I'm guessing it did not have LSD?.I'm considering a Tacoma and 4wd since my last truck experience....hmmmm,2wd????.Save $$$$ + fuel!!!.

lsd helps, but 4wd is best if you are in the snow a lot .... i switched from FWD cars to 2wd trucks about 3 years ago now and still dont really enjoy driving in the snow if i dont have to ... the fwd cars on the other hand did great (and they had abs brakes)
