    Well, from what i've gathered on this site, synthetic is the way to go. Runs at a lower temperature = less wear on engine. (I just recently bought the truck and the oil was changed right before I got it, it has conventional).

    So I did a little research here and it's mobil 1 or amsoil. Just decided on amsoil, this is their newest line (read:cheapest). I had to order it from edmonton. My napa doesn't stock it.
