RIP Mom.. camping/ walk around video tribute to my mom.

Some amazing views and scenery OP. I'm sure your mom was right there with you the whole trip.
Definitely adding that are on the bucket list of areas to explore with that mountain sunrise picture !

 

Thanks and I’m sure she was too… we woke up at 3 am to get to the sunrise spot and made coffee and waited for the sun. It was wonderful..

It's tough losing a Mom. My Mom passed away 12 years ago, and I still smile when I think of her, and all of the great times she provided for me in my life while growing up. It was my Mom that taught me the desire to travel, explore, and appreciate the outdoors. My sincere thoughts and prayers for you, and yours on this day.

 

Thank you so much, and sorry for your loss as well. I never would have filmed or took so many photos if it wasn’t for her. She has been sick a long time and I would always try and bring her home as much of the trip as I could and share it with her knowing she could go with us…

What a wonderful way to pay tribute to your mom! I always love getting out in nature to clear my mind and re-center myself. It truly has a calming affect and allows a level of reflection I've not been able to find anywhere else. Keep those memories of your mom alive and continue these types of trips and you'll always have her by your side!

My mom passed in October of 2020, so I feel your pain

 

Man it’s rough, sorry for your loss as well. It’s so strange not be able to share stories and pictures.

 

Thank you for that, it was quite reflecting, it was days before the funeral so I was able to think and grieve with out the noise of the city..

Fabulous tribute. I've told my wife I wanted to be scattered at the top-end of the North-Fork of the American River -
California gets beat up but the reality is it's a beautiful state with a diverse geographical makeup that most other states dream of.

Camping in those forests - been there done that many times years back. I can smell the pines now.

My father always says that about the American river bike trail. We grew up riding along that trail and rafting it. My mom though loved the mountains. Your right about California it has it all mountians, Deserts and everything in between…
