5 years in

I picked my 2017 Limited on this day in 2016. Other than routine maintenance, the only failure was the battery about 1 year in. I expect it will fail in the next year. Otherwise routine maintenance.

It has been hit 3 times. First time my mom backed into it, doing minor damage to both passenger doors.

Second time someone’s mirror hit my mirror at a stoplight. Then ran. It has been a few years since I autocrossed or did track days, but it didn’t take me long to catch her.

The last time was right before Covid. I was sitting at a turnaround over a highway waiting for traffic to clear, when someone rearended me.

Otherwise 71k easy miles. It has been to 8 states so far.

Oh and it has averaged about 22mpg since new.

Likewise with mine. Just replaced the LTX II's yesterday for $1K. Original alignment still spot on made me happy. Dealer oil changes free for life every 10K miles. Everything works well, even the wireless charger. My digital and calculated MPG's are within 1/10 MPG of each other and both speedos are spot on. Anxiously waiting for Toyota Lifestyle to make good on my order for the Diode Dynamics interior light kit swap to finish my only "mod".

 

In March mine will be at 5 years, time went fast and these are awesome trucks.
