    I had these guys do some work I wasn’t comfortable doing on my truck, there were two other 1st Gens in the lot owned by mechanics. They were reasonable and spent time answering my questions. If I ever have maintenance to do again that I’m not sure about I’ll take my truck back there.

    Hey all, in the area for a week and looking to do some overlanding or offroading. I'm down in Richlands area and everything I can find seems to be ATVs only, or motocross. Anywhere I can take my Taco?

    Im still new to NC in general and was looking to hit up my first trail sometime soon too. I’ve been browsing AllTrails and there’s 3 off-road locations when I search Charlotte:
    1) Wolf Den OHV rated as easy
    B) Uwharrie OHV rated as moderate
    iii) Rocky Mountain Loop Trail also rated as moderate.
    Maybe some of the locals can recommend a few.

    I am down to hit some trails with a good group of people. New to this forum as I own a 4Runner and I am on 4Runners.com but seem to see more activity here. I have done Hurricane Creek, UWharrie 2x’s (once during the day and once at night), and brown mountain (moved here at the end of April).

    So if anyone is looking to hit some trails and wants to do a group meet please let me know. I am about 15-20 minutes from Gastonia.

    EDIT:
    I am not stock either but if anyone wants to read my 4Runner build here it is:

    im down to hit up some trails soon also.

    @w.adventures
    This weekend? I may be able to make it.

    My truck is still on stock suspension with the addition of larger tires. Sooo I’d politely request an easier trail. :anonymous:
