I measured my rake on my 2021 ACLB OR MT with stock wheels/ suspension and I am getting just a little over a 2 inch factory rake . Just wondering if that is normal ? My friend has a New DCSB and his seems to have less rake . Is the access cab that much lighter in the rear ? Have bilstien 5100 on order plan to do 3rd clip to give it a level look with slight rake .

Sounds about normal. All tacomas (except the pro) have factory rake. The access cab has a shorter cab, and 2 less full sized doors, so its going to be lighter. I think the AC is about 200lbs lighter than the double cabs are, and since they both have the same front end, all that weight is from the back of the cab.

Mine is a 2021 4x4 sport and has almost no rake at all. I assumed at least an inch but its more like half an inch or less

There’s a 1.5 inch rise in the rear on this DCSB OR stock suspension. I have about 150# that I keep in the bed so likely a 2” rake is normal. AC would probably have a bit more than a DC.

Need that rake for when we launch the beast on the drag strip. Don’t want to scrape our bumper on the asphalt. :D

Needs a soft tune on the handle to prevent blisters. Makes a faster rake.

    Smooth is deceptively fast.

The reduced drag is where it’s at with this mod.

The weight of my Leer topper (and the Prinsu topper rack) brings my AC Tacoma back to more or less level.

Not if we're gonna make the kids use it. Tire them out, I say.

Front: Bilstien 5100, maxed out. 2.3 inch lift to get it leveled. Rear: Bilstien 5100 shocks.
Yes. Just did the 5100’s in front last Wednesday. Maxed out on the 3rd clip, they did exactly what you’re expecting. The rake is ever so slight on a level surface. I added 5100 shocks to the rear. Called it good. Nice stiff ride compared to stock, but that’s what I wanted. Currently sitting at 22.5in (hub to fender, drivers side). I’m plenty happy with the overall ride, on and off road. However, I’m not to fond of my tacos stock 16x6.5 wheels now. Runnin 265/75’s now. But that’s for a different thread lol.

lookin forward to seeing you post some pics with the new ride height. I’d have a pic of my taco up, but I just joined Taco World 30 min ago lol. #newbie

Factory wheels with 5100 3rd clip during alignment . Almost wish I did 4th but was worried about a harsh ride .
